Facebook, we need a break

Facebook, we need a break

I'm thinking it's time. Time for a break. Not necessarily a break up. But a break.

Like Ross and Rachel.

Facebook, we need a break.

It's not that I don't love you.

But I'm tired.

Tired of the crap.

Seriously, do people not think before hitting "Update Status"?

Think about who might be reading.

Facebook you are really becoming a cesspool of over sharing, over dramatic woman, angry men, unfiltered statuses, and painted pictures of perfect lives.

And everyone has a fucking opinion.

And it's usually the asshole that you never hear from until something you post grinds his/her gears.

And then the post becomes all about them.

I often wonder how a photo of a child can become the object of someone's asshole opinion. You don't like that I post pictures of my kid on my page? Well, I'm tired of your bathroom selfies.

And duck faces.

And pictures of your dogs.

And I love dogs.

Then there are the people that have to shove their useless causes down your throat via website shares and photos.

Seriously, I don't care.

I don't.

Facebook, when did you become such an outlet for anger?

And bullshit?

I thought you were meant to be a place to meet up with old friends, keep in touch with family, and share fun things.

Now, it's all just nonsense.

We need a break.

It's not you, it's me.
