You can't sit with us! Ok, maybe this time you can.
Mean Girls is turning 10 years old this April and Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club (3700 N. Halsted) is throwing a midday soiree in honor of the legendary and irresistibly quotable teen comedy. On Sunday April 27th, Kit Kat will host a Mean Girls-inspired brunch, complete with burn books and nods to The Plastics. From 11AM to 4PM, Chef JoAnn Witherell's new brunch menu will be offered along with themed martinis including "That's So Fetch!" (Cruzan Guava Rum, triple sec, lime juice, simple syrup, splash of cranberry, pink sugared rim; $6.75) and "On Wednesdays We Wear Pink" (Harmonie liqueur, Fleur liqueur, champagne float, garnished with a pink glow stick; $6.75).
The movie will play on Kit Kat's seven jumbo screens, while Diva Madam X entertains the crowd with intermittent live performances. A raffle will also be held for gift bags containing St. Germain liqueur, champagne, DVDs, posters and more.
