On Friday August 16th from 7-9PM at The Waldorf Astoria (11 E. Walton), Luxury Management’s 3rd Annual A Midsummer Fashion Show (#MIDSUMMER2013) will bring together some of Chicago’s most opulent brands in support of the Center for Gender, Sexuality & HIV Prevention at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Memorial Hospital.
Designed as LUX MGT’s most exclusive fashion show fundraiser, the Chicago-based production company has made only 150 tickets available for this year’s benefit; setting a $10,000 fundraising goal—their highest yet. Guests will be ushered to the private 5th floor event space where two separate cocktail receptions will take place, both of which will be hosted by Remy USA. VIP ticket holders will be given access to LUX MGT’s signature LUX Lounge from 7-8PM where they can enjoy signature cocktails, a hosted bar (beer & wine) & signature bites by The Waldorf Astoria, as well as meet & mingle with this year’s participating companies, representatives of Lurie Children’s Memorial & fashion-conscious philanthropists like themselves.
At 8PM, all guests will move into the Sinclair Ballroom for a fall-preview runway show with looks provided by eight retailers from Michigan Avenue’s iconic 900 North Michigan Shops (Original Penguin, Diesel, Karen Millen, Intimacy Bra Fit Stylists, Cop. Copine, DNA2050, Charles David, Mezlan).
Post-event, all #MIDSUMMER1013 guests (VIP & Platinum ticket-holders) will be given complimentary access to the official after-party at Parliament – one of Chicago's newest and most anticipated luxury venues – for a hosted cocktail reception and dance party. Guests who can't make it to the official #MIDSUMMER1013 fashion show fundraiser – but want to support the cause – can purchase individual tickets to the after-party.
100% of the after-party proceeds will go to the Center for Gender, Sexuality & HIV Prevention at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Memorial Hospital.
