Outfielder David DeJesus and wife Kim are keeping busy in the off-season by preparing for their upcoming fundraiser on Thursday January 17th at 7PM at the River East Arts Center to kick off Cubs Convention weekend. Strike a Pose will feature Cubs players past and present and their wives walking the runway in a variety of fashions from the 900 North Michigan Shops. Participants include David & Kim DeJesus, Kerry & Sarah Wood, Darwin & Lindsay Barney, Shawn Camp, Tony Campana, Starlin Castro, Steve Clevenger, Scott Feldman, Brett Jackson, Anthony Rizzo, James Russell, Ian Stewart, and Travis & Brittany Wood with the event benefitting The David DeJesus Family Foundation who, for this event, will be donating monies raised to ALS research. In addition, the evening will include cocktails and food from some of Chicago’s hottest restaurants such as Chicago q, RPM Italian, Bull and Bear, Shaw’s Crabhouse, Glazed & Infused , Pastoral and Wow Bao in addition to a live auction and raffle. After the show, guests can dance the night away to popular DJ Kasper K.
All proceeds from Strike A Pose will be donated to finding a cure for ALS, a disease which has affected a close friend of David and Kim.
Tickets for Strike A Pose are $250 per person and $2500 per table (includes 4 tickets with reserved seating and table service).
