Lollapalooza's new pop-up shop concept LollaShop (332 S. Michigan Avenue) opens Friday July 27th and CHI-lebrity has the just-released scoop on what to expect during its 10 day run!
Fashion: Find t-shirts and branded items offered in the festival grounds, the official Lollapalooza T-shirt provided by Gap, as well as brand experiences by retail partners including Sony, Baggu, Goorin Bros., Rad + Refined, JammyPack and Threadless. The LollaShop will feature everything from musical fanny packs and stylish hats alongside the full line of Lolla goods.
FREE Tickets: For fans that weren’t able to get passes to the sold-out festival, a LollaShop Lottery will be held at the store July 27th, July 30th and August 2nd at 7PM for three pairs of daily tickets. Entries will be accepted starting at 5PM. The winner must be present to redeem the passes.
Signings: Meet & greets with festival performers such as Yuna and JC Brooks and the Uptown Sound will take place up to three times daily from August 3rd-5th where artists will sign t-shirts and posters sold at the LollaShop. Signings will be announced at on www.do312.com/LollaShop leading up to Lolla weekend.
VIP Events: Think private listening parties and performances at the LollaShop that will take place in the adjoining Thompson Hotel Lounge, a lounge and performance space designed to resemble a modern rock lounge. The lounge will offer a sneak peek into the highly anticipated Thompson – Chicago Hotel opening in 2013.
Yoga: Instructor Margo Kellison will lead morning classes in The Thompson Hotel Lounge at the LollaShop, August 3rd-5th at 9AM. The classes are free and open to the public. Space is limited and guests should bring their own mat. RSVP via www.do312.com/LollaShop.
