Cooking for a Cause: Common Threads Teams Up with Chopping Block
Common Threads' Mission

Chopping Block, one of my favorite places for cooking classes in Chicago, is teaming up with Common Threads, one of my favorite nonprofits (and where I serve on the Associate's Board), for a special cooking class where all proceeds will go directly to Common Threads! The event will be on May 20th from 6-9 pm at the Merchandise Mart Chopping Block location, and will raise money for Common Thread's mission of educating children living in underserved communities how to cook wholesome, healthy meals in a professional led, curriculum-based after-school program.

Join me as we prepare hummus with spicy pita chips, couscous salad with grilled zucchini, roasted red pepper and artichokes, falafel and pita with Tahini sauce, and rose scented yogurt-berry parfait, all while supporting this very important cause. Tickets are $95, and right now there is still space available. You can register here.

Hope to see you there!
