Would you vote for someone accused of sexual harassement?

Apparently the answer is yes.  I find it very interesting that with all the bad press Herman Cain is receiving, that his poll numbers dipped just slightly.  Do you think that means people don't believe his accusers, or that they just don't care because it has little to do with his ability to run the country?

Whether or not people believe the latest woman to come out and accuse Cain, you have to look at a few interesting facts that can't go unnoticed.

There are a total of four women that independently claimed Cain had harassed them.  Two women reportedly received financial settlements from the NRA (National Restaurant Association) in the 1990s after accusations against Cain.  Those records are sealed, so we'll never know all the details, but it doesn't look good.

Skeptics wonder why the latest two women are just coming to the surface now.  Assuming they have something to gain financially, otherwise there is no reason to speak out.  The only thing I can compare it to is my home builder.  He did a lot of unethical things and I know I would have had enough evidence to sue him on a number of fronts.  However I wasn't willing to put my personal life on hold and go through the hassle of a claim.  But if I find him running for President in 10 years, I'll absolutely come forward and let the world know of his deplorable actions.

With all that being said, I do think there is some shady political work going on behind the scenes.  I also believe now that Gloria Allred is involved, Sharon Bialek (the latest accuser) has lost all credibility.

I'm incredibly tired of so many of the politicians having some kind of sex issue. I would not vote for someone accused of sexual harassment.  It may not interfere with their ability to be president, but it says a lot about the quality of their character.  Yes, they're innocent until proven guilty, but where there's smoke...
