Chaka Khan at Chicago's Millennium Park on July 28, 2013

There were no empty spots left even on the lawn as 10-time Grammy winner Chaka Khan hit the stage at 7:30 p.m. before a capacity crowd in Millennium Park on Sunday. The newly slender Chicago native opened the show with the Prince remake "I Feel for You" before going into an attitude laced version of "What Cha' Gonna Do for Me."

The previous day Khan attended a street renaming in her honor at 51st and Blackstone and a reception later that evening at DuSable Museum at 57th Street and Cottage Grove Boulevard. If you drive near 51st, you'll see the street is no longer called Blackstone. Khan quipped of the renaming to Chaka Khan Way, "Don't get it twisted."
