CANDACE COLLINS JORDAN began modeling at age 13 in St. Louis, Mo.  During the course of her long career, she appeared on over 20 national magazine covers including 6 for Playboy (2 US, 4 international), had a billboard in Times Square, was a Playboy centerfold and appeared in “Risky Business” with Tom Cruise.  Today, she’s involved in numerous charitable organizations including serving as Vice-President for the Joffrey Ballet Women’s Board, sits on the Board of Directors for Common Threads, is a founding member of the Ronald McDonald House Auxiliary Women’s Board (at Lurie Children's) and is a PAWS Development Board member among many others.  She co-founded The Joffrey Ballet’s “Couture & Cocktails,” now in its 7th year, and chaired Macy’s Glamorama in 2010 and 2011.  She is a 2012 co-chair for the Joffrey Ballet's Celebration Gala on May 6th.  She was featured as a “Chicago Style Setter” in TCW Magazine, a “Style Icon” in Shore Magazine, a “Style Influencer” in ME: In Focus Magazine and one of the “Top 25 Most Fashionable Chicagoans” by CS Magazine. Recently, she was included in Michigan Avenue Magazine’s feature, “100 Powerful Chicagoans: The Influentials" and TCW Magazine named her one of Chicago’s “100 Women Making a Difference.”  She and her successful blog, Candid Candace, were featured in Chicago Magazine’s “Belle of the Blog” cover story feature as well as in CS Magazine's "Best of the City 2012" issue.  She writes for Chicago Now (Candid Candace) and is the Social Columnist for the Chicago Tribune.  Her weekly column, Candid Candace, appears in Sunday’s Tribune Magazine.  Additionally, she hosts her own show, Candid Candace Chicago, on Chicago's first online network,  www.Watch312.com.  (Contact her at Candace@CandidCandace.com).
