CANDACE COLLINS JORDAN: Media personality; Chicago Tribune social columnist (Candid Candace); Chicago Now blogger (Candid Candace) and award-winning host of "Candid Candace TV.  Jordan began modeling at age 13 in St. Louis, Mo., and during the course of her long career, she's appeared on over 20 national magazine covers including 8 for Playboy (2 U.S., 6 international), had a billboard in Times Square, was a Playboy centerfold (Dec. 1979) and appeared in “Risky Business” with Tom Cruise.  Today, she’s involved in numerous charitable organizations including The Joffrey Ballet's Women's Board (past Vice-President and co-founder of "Couture & Cocktails"), Common Threads (Auxiliary Board co-founder), Ronald McDonald House Charities (Auxiliary Women’s Board at Lurie Children's--a founding board member) and PAWS Chicago among many others. She served as Honorary Chair for Macy’s Glamorama (five consecutive years). She co-chaired the Joffrey Ballet's Celebration Gala in 2012, a record-breaker at the time.  She's co-chaired the Service Club Gala, N'DIGO Foundation Gala, Chef Art Smith's "World Festival" benefiting Common Threads (four times) and the Bear Tie Ball benefiting Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation. She has been featured as a “Chicago Style Setter” in TCW Magazine, a “Style Icon” in Shore Magazine, a “Style Influencer” in In Focus Magazine and one of the “Top 25 Most Fashionable Chicagoans” by CS Magazine. She was included in Michigan Avenue Magazine’s feature, “100 Powerful Chicagoans: The Influentials" and TCW Magazine named her one of Chicago’s “100 Women Making a Difference”  and "100 Women of Influence".  She has also been featured in magazines as a "Chicago Personal Brand", "Top 25 Most Fashionable Chicagoans" and "The A-List: 60 Chicagoans of Style."  She was voted "Chicago's Most Social Scenester" in a poll conducted by Racked.com  She has appeared on The Steve Harvey Show as an etiquette expert, as a co-host and guest on WCIU's "You & Me This Morning, Windy City Live, WGN Midday News, Fox Midday News, NPR radio, WGN Radio and as a Rivet radio show host, to name a few. She and her successful blog, Candid Candace, were featured in Chicago Magazine’s “Belle of the Blog” cover story feature as well as in CS Magazine's "Best of the City" issue.  She was honored with an inaugural "Women Driving Excellence Trailblazer" award and was the honoree at the Stanley Paul Foundation where she drew the largest crowd in the event's history. Recently, she was inducted into the Media Maven Hall of Fame by the Alliance for Women in Media. She appeared in a cover story feature titled "Reinvention" for Today's Chicago Woman Magazine (her 2nd cover for the magazine).  Last year, New York Magazine featured her in an article titled "The View from a Centerfold" and recently, she was featured in a CS Magazine article titled "Social Butterfly."
