LMFAO's Redfoo will be celebrity guest host at Green Tie Ball 2018
LMFAO's Redfoo will be celebrity guest host for the Green Tie Ball benefiting Chicago Gateway Green on Friday, September 14 at the Geraghty.

Green Tie Ball 2018 just got a whole lot cooler with the addition of Redfoo (part of the musical duo LMFAO) as its celebrity guest host! Presented by Chicago Gateway Green with the whimsical, Seussical theme of "Green Eggs & Glam," this year's event will be held at The Geraghty (2520 S. Hoyne) on Friday, September 14.

Attracting a crowd of over 1000 of Chicago's most influential professionals and celebrities, this 27th annual party will include multiple food stations from the Windy City's most popular eateries, exciting silent and live auctions, charitable gaming, a VIP experience, enchanting decor by Kehoe Designs and DANCING, DANCING, DANCING! (Multiple DJs and the Dr. Bombay Band will be part of the live entertainment)!

Redfoo is the perfect host for this year's event since he's the epitome of what this party embodies--exciting, colorful, over-the-top FUN with a capital "F"!

At first look and listen, you may assume that Redfoo is just a big haired, hard partying artist with a goofy sense of humor, but he is actually a musical superhero.

Born into the legendary world of Motown music as Stefan Kendal Gordy, Redfoo’s earliest exposure to music and business was based on a collaborative family spirit, feel good dance anthems and a meticulous method to music making. Redfoo found his own sound and partnered with nephew Sky Blu to form the electro-pop dance duo LMFAO.

The duo released a slew of celebratory number one hits, including “Party Rock Anthem” and “Sexy & I Know It”, that catapulted them to the top of the charts and onto a worldwide tour. Those hits were celebrated with multiple Grammy nominations, MTV, NRJ & Billboard Award wins and the opportunity to perform alongside Madonna at Super Bowl XLVI.

I'm proud to be a co-host with Nina Mariano for this event that benefits Chicago Gateway Green, a nonprofit organization dedicated to greening and beautifying Chicago's expressways, gateways and communities.

Founded in 1986 by Donald J. DePorter, Gateway Green has planted more than 4,000 trees, 80,000 shrubs and 130,000 perennials along with the removal of over 1.3 million pounds of litter!
