Giordano Dance Chicago, one of the city's most beloved dance companies, will celebrate its 55th anniversary at its Legacy Ball, a "party like none other," this Saturday, February 10, at Chez, 247 E. Ontario.
The evening will include a salute to the decades with fun food from Jewell Catering (think TV trays for the 70s!), an open bar, DJ Matthew Harvat and dancing, dancing, dancing!
The talented Giordano dancers will perform and, as the evening's honoree and honorary chair, I will even participate in a little number! (Yikes!)
Giordano Dance Chicago (GDC) was founded by Gus Giordano in 1963. It is America's original jazz dance company, and from the start, it captivated a world-wide audience with dynamic performances and the diversity and wide appeal of its repertoire.
Artistic director Nan Giordano, darling daughter of Gus, has taken the company to a whole new level so, join us and see for yourself just what we have in our own backyard! Oh, and please save a dance for me!
