DuSable Museum's Night of 100 Stars Gala to honor Chance the Rapper, among others
Chance the Rapper will be an honoree at DuSable Museum's "Night of 100 Stars" gala on June 24.

The DuSable Museum of African American History will host it annual "Night of 100 Stars" Gala on Saturday, June 24, at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place (2233 S. Martin Luther King Dr.)

The black-tie event, hosted by Val Warner (Windy City Live) and Hosea Sanders (ABC-7), will begin at 6 pm and honor three outstanding community leaders: Chancelor "Chance the Rapper" Bennett (artist, philanthropist); Lonnie Bunch III (founding director of the National Museum of African American History & Culture) and Ertharin Cousin (Stanford University Distinguished Lecturer & Visiting Fellow/ former executive director of the World Food Programme).

The evening will be co-chaired by Lisa and Ken Bennett, Linda Johnson Rice, Kimberly McCullough-Starks, Dr. Cheryl Whitaker and Dr. Eric Whitaker.  (For tickets, beginning at $500, and more info click here).
