The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation hosted 400 of Chicago's top chefs, peers and fans for the Jean Banchet Awards for Culinary Excellence Sunday night at Venue SIX10. The Banchet Awards are the only Chicago-based awards presentation that recognizes and rewards culinary originality and talent in the Chicagoland area.

BEST ETHNIC RESTAURANT (NEW CATEGORY) --Birrieria Zaragoza
Following the awards, nominees and attendees enjoyed an after-party featuring food from Antique Taco, Bar Toma, Cemitas Pueblas, Chicago's Doghouse, Chop Shop, Gibson's Steakhouse, Honey Butter Fried Chicken, Jake Melnick's Corner Tap, Peninsula Chicago, Pork + Mindy's and Shake Shack.
