Renee Zellweger: Why does Hollywood have to eat its young?
Renee Zellweger

I've seen the photos.  I don't get it.  Yes, Renee Zellweger does look different, but certainly not as different or as hideous as the media seems to think.  I looked at her images, past and present.  And yes, it looks like she has had some work done, but in Hollywood, the Land of Perpetual Youth, who hasn't?  You apparently have to do this sort of thing to keep up, be noticed--aka, get work.  (Sadly).

Believe me, I've seen bad plastic surgery and this ain't it.

I feel horrible for her.  She seems to be a terrific woman.  She does wonderful things for charity and by goodness, she's in awesome shape so why this horrible press?  It feels like a witch hunt from the 17th century for god's sake.  Let this women live her life....

Maybe if everyone wasn't so focused on how people look on the outside, they could actually appreciate people for who they are on the inside.

She has won an Academy Award, three Golden Globe Awards, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, a BAFTA Award and was named Hasty Pudding's Woman of the Year.  Her next film, The Whole Truth,  is slated for 2015 and stars Keanu Reeves, Gabriel Basso, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Jim Belushi.

I hope it's a blockbuster.
