We've watched these lovebirds cavort all over the world and, today, basketball legend Michael Jordan, 50, married Cuban super-model Yvette Prieto, 35, at the Episcopal church, Bethesda-by-the-Sea (Donald Trump and Melania were also married there) with 500 in attendance. 1500+ are expected to attend the reception at Bears Club, an exclusive golfing community designed by Jack Nicklaus, inside a 40,000 square foot tent (!!!!) with a sound system that had to be transported in four semi-trailers! Jordan and Prieto met at a Miami nightclub in 2008 and now, after 5 years of dating, have tied the knot.
The wedding tent even eclipses his 35,000 square foot Jupiter, Florida home where he paid $4.8 million for the land and another $7.6 million in construction. You do the math but, according to star realtor Jeff Lichtenstein," this is probably the largest, most expensive non-waterfront home in the Palm Beaches. MJ’s total commitment when furnished will probably exceed $20m."
Congratulations Michael and Yvette!
