Jennifer Hudson and the Voice's Jamar Rogers Perform at House of Blues for Michigan Avenue Magazine Party

Sometimes it can be hell on the Red Carpet, especially when you're waiting for a star as big as Jennifer Hudson but, on this night at the House of Blues, everyone behaved for Michigan Aveneue Magazine's second cover party, "A Hudson Holiday",  for this beloved Chicago icon.

Michigan Avenue Magazine, President/publisher Dan Uslan and Editor-in-Chief JP Anderson welcomed the packed crowd to the House of Blues on 12/4 with a bevy of beautiful ballerinas from the Joffrey Ballet.   A check for $10K was presented to Jennifer and her sister Julia to support their Julian D. King Gift Foundation, which supports under-served children.

The Voice's Jamar Rogers performed first singing his new autobiographical  single "High" that had just dropped on ITunes that day.  He is an inspirational singer with a big personality and had just performed in Las Vegas for Cee-Lo Green's holiday special.

Jennifer not only sung the paint off the walls but I've never seen her look better.  Her Weight Watcher's diet is definitely working, her figure was spectacular in a skin-tight sparkling short dress with her hair blown out like the goddess she is.

The crowd loved her and she loved them right back!  Congrats to Michigan Avenue Magazine for making yet another night in Chicago so very memorable!  Stay tuned for video coverage on "Candid Candace Chicago" on Watch312.com!

(Congrats to JKLS PR who handled this event to perfection, too!  And thank you to Watch312's cameramen Alonzo Stallings, John Truitt, Matt Natale (camera and photo assistance) Danielle Davis (production assistance) and Erin Clucas (social media)
