Dinner tickets have officially gone on sale for this year’s Conservation Ball benefitting Friends of Conservation. On Friday, October 12th, FOC President and Ball Chair Reute Butler and CNN’s Zoraida Sambolin will be hosting an unforgettable evening in The Winter Garden at The Harold Washington Library. FOC will be celebrating its 30th Anniversary of Community Conservation projects based in the world-renowned jewel that is the Mara-Serengeti Ecosystem along the Kenyan and Tanzanian Border.
Catering impresario George Jewell of Jewell Events Catering will be personally supervising the preparation of an elegant dinner. A unique silent auction will offer up for bidding a wide array of unique art, gift packages, and sports memorabilia. Dinner will be followed by dancing to the Stu Hirsch Orchestra and a one-of-a-kind, not-to-be missed Live Auction in which several Destination Trips of a lifetime will be featured for bid.
And of course, the Conservation Ball would not be complete with the fabulous Wildlife Presentation. Noted Wildlife Expert Jim Fowler of Wild Kingdom fame will be on hand once again to introduce guests to special “ambassadors” to the Wild Kingdom.
This is FOC’s 30th Anniversary, so extra surprises will most CERTAINLY be in store!
