Thursday marks the launch of Watch312.com, a website featuring original programming about Chicago and for Chicago--from dining, social events, trends and technology to pet care and baking. There is something for everyone in this unique online resource to all things Windy City!
I am proud to be a host ("Candid Candace Chicago") along with Amanda Puck, DC Crenshaw, Chef Rick Gresh, David Martin IV, master bakers Mark and Veronica Canete Kwasigroch along with Anti-Cruelty's Tatiana Garrett. There are 8 shows in production with more fun to come!
Amanda Puck's "Dish It" invites viewers to interact with the host and ask their dining questions for a personal recommendation from well-known foodie, Amanda Puck. As the EVP of XA, the Experiential Agency, Amanda is a recognized leader in the hospitality industry but she was a foodie first! Amanda was the managing partner of Spago Restaurant and also the two-time Emmy Award winning host of the first two seasons of Check Please.
DC Crenshaw's "Chicago Unplugged" showcases everything new and hot on our restaurant scene. Upcoming shows will feature a one on one with Chicago White Sox player Frank Thomas as he debuts his new beer, The Big Hurt, from the Bull and Bear on Friday. DC also had a chance to hang out with famous Australian golfer, Greg Norman, and taste his wagyu beef and award winning wines in an upcoming show.
"Overexposure's" hosts talk about the impact that technology has on everyday life and how they affect personal lifestyle choices.
"4 X 4" with host David Martin IV, shows you four fun facts about your favorite places and events around Chicago.
"Dream Cakes" hosts Mark and Veronica Kwasigroch brings out the master baker in the viewer and makes baking fun while showing off tips of the trade. Their cakes are featured at over 15 stores in the Midwest!
"Chefs in the Kitchen" host Executive Chef Rick Gresh (PrimeHouse) takes you into the greatest kitchens of Chicago to meet other talented chefs. Upcoming shows will feature Chefs Bill Kim, Stephanie Izard and Giuseppet Tentori as well as some local farms and butcher shops/plants.
And for all of you pet lovers, Tatiana Garrett from the Anti-Cruelty will bring you delightful stories of love, adoptions and why pets are so darn good for us!
My show, "Candid Candace Chicago", already has 47 shows in the archives for your perusal anytime, (like all of our other programming which is also available online 24/7!) I cover everything from hot parties, galas, film premieres, up close and personal celebrity encounters, street festivals, by-invite-only events and more! Coming up, I will be covering the MCA's ArtEdge Gala as well as the Museum of Science and Industry's Black Creativity Gala. We'll take a look at the people who make Chicago exciting as well as check out all of the party fashions! I will also be including segments about my favorite spots around town....boutiques, makeup artists, hairdressers, top fashion picks and even my favorite nail salon!
As you can see, Watch312.com is your full-service, full-time resource to the best things that Chicago has to offer....right at the touch of a button 24/7! So don't be a stranger! Check us out! Our new website launches on Thursday, January 26th and I hope to see YOU there!!!!
