The Library was packed at PUBLIC Chicago for a party to celebrate award winning Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten's launch of his latest book, "Home Cooking with Jean-Georges: My Favorite Simple Recipes."
150 fans and friends stood in line to meet and greet the Chef as well as have him sign their books. He was charming to everyone and during the Q & A with PUBLIC Chicago owner, Ian Schrager, and Executive Chef Bradford Phillips, he was asked, "What is the difference between cooking in NY versus Chicago?" Jean-Georges answered, "The people are nicer here." Now that's a Chef who has my vote!
