Chicago Now Bloggers Toast the Season at Justin's

It is a BIG community of bloggers at Chicago Now.  It didn't start out this way.  In the beginning, there were only five  but as time wore on, Chicago Now guru/fearless leader, Jimmy Greenfield,  brought on 100's of talented bloggers who write about every topic imaginable.   Recently we had a get-together, a "blathering" if you will, at Justin's on Southport.  Here's what Jimmy had to say about the evening,  "I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm in awe of everyone and this community we've built together. At the end of the night I went up to the bartender to see how his night went and he said,  'At every party there's at least one person who is kind of a jerk.  Everyone here tonight was terrific.'   So let me express myself today using lines from two of my favorite movies. "I'd rather be with you people than the finest people in the world." (If you know what movie that line is from I'll send you one of the five pairs of gloves I stole from your coats last night)."

This community has grown by leaps and bounds but one thing remains the same, the feeling of friendship and belonging we all feel towards one another and to this formidable group known as Chicago Now, "Where Chicago Blogs"!

Here are the faces of Chicago Now!

  • Candace ~ Looking good...! Sorry you don't have a camera old enough to catch an octogenarian's face. But look at it this way -- we're good to have around. Good bloggers can always take advantage of a good historian [that's what we call ourselves after living here for eight generations]

  • Hey Candace. Sorry the B.U.G. was too late for pictures but happy I got to see most of the blolgging bunch before heading back to the south side. Happy Holidays!
