Chicago's First Fashion Night Out: Celebs, Style, Brian, Brad and More!

Chicago's first Fashion Night Out had the stylish set running to their closets for the finale on Sept.8th,  of a two week long celebration.  The Magnificent Mile debuted the first shopping festival of its kind in the country with "In-Fashion:  The Magnificent Mile Shopping Festival Presented by MasterCard."

During the course of two weeks over 140 stores, restaurants and hotels focused on increasing Chicago's visibility on the fashion map as well as giving this industry and our economy a much-needed boost.   Celebs were everywhere you looked with stylist Carson Kressley kicking off the event on August 26th.  There were demonstrations from Chicago's top chefs including Chef Celine Plano of the Peninsula Chicago, Chef  Patrick  Sheerin of the Signature Room at the 95th, Chef Beverly Kim Clark of aria and Chef Gale Gand from Tru.   There was also a slew of Bravo's Real Housewives appearing at venues around town including  LuAnn de Lesseps (NYC), Teresa Giudice (New Jersey),  and Gretchen Rossi (Orange County).   Sports stars were well represented too with appearances by Cub pitcher Kerry Wood, catcher Geovany Soto and Chicago Bull's Kyle Korver.

At the 900 Shops party, "Fame, Fashion, Flavor", Bravo's celeb stylist, Brad Goreski, held court in the Tzar VIP Lounge while Saks Fifth Avenue celebrated the opening of their new shoe salon with super-hunky designer, Brian Atwood, who happily posed for pics and signed stilettos for his mob of admirers.

Congrats to In-Fashion Chair Carrie Lannon on a job well done!  Her 50-person strong committee are already hard at work on next year's fashion extravaganza and I can't wait!

So many stores had so much going on and I missed so much, but then,  I am only one Candid Candace!  I will let these terrific pics by Mila Samokhina tell the tale of finale night!
