The Fairytale Continues for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at Charity Polo Match

And the fairytale continues as Prince William, the new Duke of Cambridge,  scores all four goals for his team, Royal Salute, in sunny Santa Barbara!  Before the match, Wills  said, "Thank you very much for the very warm welcome and thanks to you Ambassador Holden.  In terms of coming back, that depends on the result out there today.  I'm not a good loser."  So I guess this means the people of Santa Barbara will be seeing this gorgeous couple again down the road!

Title sponsor, Tiffany, designed the exquisite trophy named "The Foundation Polo Challenge Trophy" in honor of the foundation that Catherine, Harry and Wills have established.  The Prince said, "We are focusing on helping military veterans and their families, and following my father's example, working on sustainable development.  We also want to give the most disadvantaged young in society hope and confidence in their lives.  We feel passionately about this."  It's good to see Princess Diana's strong influence for helping others  in her children.

The Tiffany trophy is handcrafted in sterling silver and 18 karat gold vermeil and stands 18 inches tall.  Weighing in at 14.7 pounds, it features a border of horseshoes entwined with laurel that was originally designed by Eugene Soligny in 1876 for the National Cup for Stallions.  The trophy will be donated to the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club for permanent display.

Celebs seen in the crowd included Rob Lowe, Billy Zane, Joe Jonas, Zoe Saldana, Jennifer Love-Hewitt, Rosario Dawson and model/actress Molly Sims among others.

Long may they reign!
