Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana held their "Cement Hands Event" to celebrate the building of the World's Largest Ronald McDonald House at 211 E. Grand Avenue in Streeterville set to open in 2012.  Streeterville residents and supporters of the House came out in droves to put their hands in cement which will then be placed in the foundation of the building so they will always be there to "hold and support the families".  President and CEO of RMHC-CNI, Doug Porter, reported that $20 million has been raised towards a capital campaign of $30 million.  Guests included project architect Joe Antunovich, Board Chairman Mike Kotynek, House Sr. Director Jamie Haberkorn, Gail Spreen (Prez and Owner of Streeterville Properties), Mark Evans, Paul Clark, Julee White, Jill Bastian, Ken Norgan, Fred Jackson, Greg Koerner, Mary Haggerty, Joe Endress, Mark Butterly, Maneesh Chawla, Paul Huebener, Bill Keyser, Sheila Musolino, Tim Nevins, Jim Petrowich, Charlie Stone, Jim Brady, Lesley Prizant Goodman, Margaret Unetich, Felicia, Kurt and Janey Winiecki, Laura and Michael Moran and family and many others.  (To find out more info and how you can help, please visit www.RonaldHouseChicago.org .
