No, this isn't real but what a fun party photo op for guests at the Ebony/Macy's tribute to Eunice Johnson!

Combine the forces of Ebony Magazine with Macy's and you know you're in for a heck of a party.  Throw beautiful Johnson Publishing dynamo, Linda Johnson Rice, into the mix and it is a PARRRTEEE!  Saturday afternoon, the private cocktail reception was held on Macy's 7th floor in the Narcissus Room.  The long, dramatic red carpet showed you the way past the on-going WVON radio show with ever-chic host Emilie McKendall to a room draped in red curtains, a bubbling fountain, bars in every corner, Fashion Fair cosmetic stations showcasing their limited edition custom lipcolor for the event (For the Love of Color) and even an opportunity to appear on your own Ebony cover with a fun photo shoot.  The event was a tribute to.....

the life of legendary style icon, Eunice Johnson.  This retrospective debuted in NY at Macy's Herald Square and will tour 10 Macy's locations across the country throughout the month of February in honor of Black History Month.  The exhibit features designs by some of the world's most renowned and critically acclaimed designers including Lanvin, Yves Saint Laurent, Vivienne Westwood, Carolina Herrera, Stephen Burrows, B.Michael, Oscar de la Renta, Christian Lacroix, Krizia and Givenchy to name a few.

The party rocked with familiar faces, all dressed in their very chic-est outfits as an homage to the legendary stylesetter, Eunice Walker Johnson.  Take a look at the party pics and see for yourselves!  :-)
