This year's 8th Annual Parkways Foundation's Garden Party & Luncheon attracted over 600 well dressed movers and shakers from Chicago and beyond.  The hats were out in force, some stylish, some more on the creative side, but all were worn with great flair!  The event raised over $300,000 for youth programming and the renovation of Moore Park located in Chicago's west side Austin neighborhood.

During the event, Charter One was presented with The Jens Jensen award which recognizes the efforts of those who enhance life in Chicago and the honoree for the Council Ring Outstanding Volunteer went to Laura Barnett Sawchyn, who has been on the Board of Directors since 2004.

Co-chairs for the event were Marty Higgins, Carol Prins and Laura Barnett Sawchyn.  They created a wonderland in the Tiffany Celebration Garden which included charming hat centerpieces created by Chicago Park District teens from Palmer Park.
