The Printer's Row Book Fair started today and even though it rained, it didn't dampen the spirits of our rough and tumble ChicagoNow team!

Jimmy Greenfield manned the booth with Amy Guth, our books blogger, and was spreading the word about this wonderful new web site as our fearless leader, Bill Adee, and his daughter Grace looked on approvingly.

You have to check it out -- as I see you are!

Children's book author, Becky Callahan, was on hand promoting her delightful new book, "Little Lucky Luck", which promotes literacy and teaches children to think positive. (Heck, we ALL need this book!)

Also, a big shout out to master bookman, Thomas Joyce from Chicago Rare, on celebrating his 25th year at the fair.

You may all know him from the HGTV series, "At the Auction" where he was the book appraiser on this show and has also appeared on many other programs in this capacity! Congrats Thomas!

The fair runs through Sunday until 6 PM.

  • Hey Candace, Thanks for the thumbs up on my Little Lucky Luck Book, in the last 6 months it has sold over 1200 copies at several book fairs. My Passion for promoting Literacy and a positive attitude in children inspires me to try and launch my book nationally. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
    Thanks, Becky Callahan
