Why are so many Bulls fans so clueless?

Why are so many Bulls fans so clueless?
I am asking this question because once again, I am reading an internet discussion by “intelligent” fans who continue to bitch that the Bulls “let assets walk for nothing”. Every team loses players every year, thank Curt Flood and Connie Hawkins for free agency. You know what they do? They replace those players with other... Read more »

According to several media sources, the Bulls have extended a training camp invitation to veteran point guard Mike James. The 38-year-old James has played for 11 teams in 11 NBA seasons, as well as playing the 2010-11 season in Turkey. Most Bulls fans remember him for signing a series of contracts with the 2012 team,... Obama re-elected, Romney yet to concede- in other news, Bulls defeat Magic 99-93

Yes, there was an election tonight that was sort of a big deal- but the real news is that the Bulls moved to 3-1 without Derrick Rose tonight, defeating the previously undefeated Orlando Magic 99-93 at the United Center. The Magic had played two outstanding games without Dwight Howard, and they continued that trend in... Read more »

New Orleans Hornets 89, Chicago Bulls 82: Game recap 11/3/2012
The Bulls headed into Saturday’s home contest against the New Orleans Hornets looking like they shouldn’t have much trouble winning their third consecutive game to kick off the season. The Hornets were without their best player, Eric Gordon, who will miss at least another month with a bad knee. And the #1 overall pick in... Read more »

Bulls to sign Nate Robinson

Bulls to sign Nate Robinson
Multiple sources are reporting that the Bulls will finalize a deal with PG Nate Robinson sometime today. Details of the deal were not reported, but it is obviously for the league minimum as the Bulls have nothing else to offer. Robinson is a former 1st-round pick (21st overall) in the 2005 NBA draft. Ironically, he... Read more »

    Bullsville

Don Ellis started covering sports professionally when he was 15. The same year (1980), as a student assistant at Seeger Memorial High School in West Lebanon, IN, he was one of the first in the world to use, study and implement analytics in basketball. He attended Daytona State College and Ball State University, and some of his past credits include InsideHoops (NBA Runaround: The NBA According to Ellis) and ESPN Florida (The Florida Sports Reporters), where he was fortunate enough to work with many rising stars, including NFL Network's Dan Hellie, Redskins coach Jay Gruden, Magic radio and TV personality Dante Marchitelli, and WSB-TV (Atlanta) Sports Director Zach Klein. In addition to running the Bullsville blog and officiating basketball, baseball and football for the KHSAA, he is also a bass player and vocalist who writes and produces music in his spare time (you may remember his internet hit "I Hate Eddy Curry"). He's a 3rd-generation Cubs fan, a Bulls fan since the days of Van Lier and Sloan, and a life-long New England Patriots fan. He's seen Primus 9 times and thinks Les Claypool walks on water. By far his greatest accomplishment is being a father of three and grandfather of one.
