Game Blog Live: Chicago Bulls vs Memphis Grizzlies: 10/7/2013 Preseason Game #2

Let's hope this works out, as long as the League Pass doesn't screw me over because I'm too close to Memphis, I'll be blogging live during tonight's game.

Hopefully get it started in the body of the article then we can get to comments if it gets that far.

Thank you League Pass, at least you didn't dick me tonight.

7:06- Close to game time, I have to find something to eat. This will be my first season of League Pass in HD,  the setup in the living room is perfect, this is going to be a special season.

I'm glad that Noah's sitting the first few, we can see what Murphy's got, get Nazr some minutes, eventually Pittman.

7:17 Bulls off to another horrible start, 11-2, can't score, can't play defense. Eh, it's early.

7:57  CSKA Moscow leads the Timberwolves 47-33 in the 2nd quarter.

8:07  I guess it's because the game is in a non-NBA arena, but even NBA's Media Central doesn't have a live box score.

Only down by 1 at halftime, that's not bad. Hopefully we get to see the starters the first 6 or 7 minutes of the 3rd quarter, then lots of Teague, Snell and Murphy the rest of the way.

8:29 PM I got tired of bolding all the times. CSKA Moscow still leading Minnesota by 7 early in the 3rd quarter.

Be nice to see the Bulls win a close game down the stretch, not that a win or loss means much but it would mean our 2nd unit and rooks probably played pretty well.

8:55 PM- The Bulls' defense is going to be outstanding this season, very quick.

9:10 PM- Murphy gettin' some schoolin' down low on defense, twice in a row

9:23 PM- Dexter Pittman in the game, it's officially garbage time. I'll get a box score as soon as it's available, have a great night everyone

Don Ellis started covering sports professionally when he was 15. The same year (1980), as a student assistant at Seeger Memorial High School in West Lebanon, IN, he was one of the first in the world to use, study and implement analytics in basketball. He attended Daytona State College and Ball State University, and some of his past credits include InsideHoops (NBA Runaround: The NBA According to Ellis) and ESPN Florida (The Florida Sports Reporters), where he was fortunate enough to work with many rising stars, including NFL Network's Dan Hellie, Redskins coach Jay Gruden, Magic radio and TV personality Dante Marchitelli, and WSB-TV (Atlanta) Sports Director Zach Klein. In addition to running the Bullsville blog and officiating basketball, baseball and football for the KHSAA, he is also a bass player and vocalist who writes and produces music in his spare time (you may remember his internet hit "I Hate Eddy Curry"). He's a 3rd-generation Cubs fan, a Bulls fan since the days of Van Lier and Sloan, and a life-long New England Patriots fan. He's seen Primus 9 times and thinks Les Claypool walks on water. By far his greatest accomplishment is being a father of three and grandfather of one.
