The Bulls are in Kansas today, ready to take on the Thunder in a nationally televised (ESPN, 8:30 PM CT) matchup. I don't know where in Kansas the game is being played, and I don't care.
It's the preseason, folks. These games mean absolutely nothing in the team vs team sense, it doesn't matter one iota who wins or who loses. And as long as nobody get hurt, the game will be a success for each team.
It should be fun to watch, we know Noah and Westbrook won't be there, but Rose and Durant is a good evening's entertainment. There's plenty of people thinking that Thibs will try to use his opening-night rotation at close to regular season minutes during the final 2 preseason games, so we might get a strong idea on what the regular season rotation will be.
Outside of that? It's preseason, don't read very much into it. It's better to be 6-0 than 0-6 of course, but outside of guys like Rose who are coming back from injuries, most of the players aren't going at anything close to regular season effort and speed out there.
And well before Christmas, the entire preseason will have been completely forgotten.
So enjoy watching, but don't take anything away from it. Just remember it's only 6 more days until the games actually do matter, though.
