Rose Out Against Memphis

Derrick Rose tested his sprained toe in warmups, but apparently it wasn't feeling up to the task so he and the training staff decided that he would sit out today's matinee in Memphis.

That means John Lucas III gets his second start as a Bull- and while another 25/8/8 game would be awesome, hopefully it won't be on 11/28 shooting like his last start.

CJ Watson apparently is a go today, which should help out- but he is probably a little rusty after sitting out two weeks, so expect JL3 to get most of the minutes today unless he just plays horribly.

Early game today = brief game preview from me, but I'll have an extensive post-game recap plus another post I am working on.

But let's not forget why the Bulls are playing an afternoon game today- it's a celebration of the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and we all should be thankful for the changes he brought to society as a whole (and the United States in particular).
