Today in Music History: Muddy Waters

On this date twenty-eight years ago, blues legend Muddy Waters dies in his sleep at his Westmont, Ill hone.  He is sixty-eight.  This Hard Again ('77) version of Mannish Boy with Johnny Winter is my favorite blues song by anyone - love the background shouting in addition to everything else:
