Today in Music History: Randy Rhoads, Luther Ingram, Paul Kossoff

On this date thirty-five years ago, Free guitarist Paul Kossoff dies of heart failure on a flight from L. A. to New York.  He is twenty-five.  Six years later, Ozzy Osbourne's guitarist and former member of Quiet Riot Randy Rhoads is killed in a plane crash.  He is also twenty-five.  Twenty-five years later, soul singer and songwriter Luther Ingram dies of a heart attack at sixty-nine.  Here is Luther's big hit and soul masterpiece, performed at Wattstax in '72:
