The definition of a civil way is a war between citizens of the same country. In this case it is more a very strong difference of opinion between friends.
As I sat in my seat at the IMAX Theater with my bag of popcorn, lemonade and 3D Glasses in place, I was filled with anticipation as the opening scene came on the screen.
The Avengers are superheroes whose purpose is to free the world from evil and injustice. Sometimes in doing this others are hurt or displaced. After their last rescue attempt in Nigeria where many people were killed 117 countries of the United Nations decided that the government should take control of the Avengers actions. The family becomes split between the two alpha males, Captain America (Chris Evans) who believes that they should have the freedom to remain in control of their missions, and Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.) who agrees that boundaries should be set because too many innocent people were being hurt. This splits the Avengers down the middle. The starting line-up for Team Captain America – Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), and Ant Man (Paul Rudd).
Even in the separation the strong ties that bind are there. To be honest it is easy to see both sides and the viewers want to see some kind of resolution so we all can be one big happy family again.
I was excited to see how the Russo brothers were going to introduce the Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) the first African superhero to the group. They did not disappoint. He is kick butt awesome with a great costume and a key part of the story. He is fierce.
I was not disappointed at all. The women were strong, brave, and feminine. The men were strong, brave, and venerable. There is plenty of natural humor and posing. Check out Captain America’s biceps as he holds onto a helicopter.
The screenplay keeps you interested, the direction keeps you involved, the action packed scenes are amazing, and the costumes are pretty awesome.
I can’t wait for the next one episode and look forward to more of the Black Panther.
I say SPEND THE MONEY to see Captain America: Civil War in 3D
