Lessons learned during London’s 2012 Olympics were varied and scattershot. But as always, educational. Two young men in red flag Canadian tee shirts were pushing a bin full to bursting with packaged snack foods. They stopped at the pedestrian crossing light. Elementary my dear reader, because I can find what I want to buy. There is nothing like standing in the middle of the Dominick’s grocery store in the South Loop–empty handed.
