Two ingredient cookies sound too good to be true, but let me tell you they're not! I originally saw this recipe on pinterest and decided it was something I had to try. I mean a recipe that used bananas and oats really tasted that good? So I had to check it out for myself. The result was fantastic!
The original recipe and some helpful tips from Lilly's blog Recipe by Photo. Her site is so easy to follow! I can not get over how much I actually enjoyed these cookies. They're a great snack or breakfast item. And they're so quick and easy to make. Add in any fun extra ingredients that you like. May some miniature M & M's for the kids. That way they'll think they're eating this delicious fun cookie.
I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I did! Here are a few tips to keep in mind in addition to the original recipe.
*The bananas I used very very ripe, as you can tell in the picture. They were still good and mashed up well.
*the silpat allowed me to pull the cookies right off!
* My batch made about 20-24 little cookies depending on how big of a scoop you put down.
