It's Monday January 14th and that means it's time for some major motivation. The quote above is perfect for your mid month motivation. January seems to be a time of new beginnings, new goals and new creative sparks for people. I think it's important to be okay with taking all of January to figure out what you really want this year. Who has the time to make new year long goals in the month of December when everyone's busily shopping and on a roller coaster of a sugar high? Therefore, it's okay if you had great intentions in the beginning of the month and now you've fallen off or if you haven't made new goals yet this year.
You have eleven and a half months of accomplishing all the things you want to in 2013. If you plan correctly you'll be able to accomplish a multitude of things this year. Don't feel bad if you haven't made plans take the next two weeks to do write down all of your wildest dreams and plan out ways to go about them. Pick at least one that you are going to stick through no matter what gets in the way.
If you're on the other side and you started the year off with great intentions and have fallen back into old behaviors, it's ok. Get positive, reevaluate and know what you really want. Do you want to save for your dream vacation this year, start a savings account, lose 10lbs or maybe build more meaningful friendships. There are so many things you can accomplish in 2013. Know you have the right to be excited and energized about this new year. You have the power to make it all happen.
One thing is for sure, if you wait another year to work on your goals or make things happen you'll regret it. You have the power to look back on 2013 and know you did everything to make it a great year. Have fun with all the endless possibilities.
Have a fun and fit day, Chicago.
