Tonight is Michigan Ave. Magazine's Cause Celebs event. Michigan Ave. Magazine has written a piece this year about 13 women focusing on charity in our great city of Chicago. I am honored to be included as one of those women. Each woman is featuring a charity that is very dear to their heart. Tonight from 6-8 pm at Water Tower Place you can come support one of these wonderful charities. By coming and donating $20 you will be helping a great cause and be entered to win lots of prizes courtesy of Water Tower.
Tonight's event is a friendly competition between each of the women. When you come to the event you will choose which organization you would like your donation to go to. Whichever girl/charity wins will be given more money for the foundation.
The charity that I'm representing is the H Foundation. The H Foundation holds one event every year to raise money for the Robert H. Lurie cancer center of Northwestern. This year the Goombay bash raised $575,000 this year alone. The money goes directly to fund research to cure cancer.
