Chi-town love from Nike and St. Alfred

A new collaborative space between Nike and St. Alfred has been created at 1529 N. Milwaukee. I had the pleasure of checking out the new space on their opening night last Friday.  Nike and St. Alfred have decided to come together to bring you closer to the World Cup experience.

This is an awesome store that should definitely be checked out.  The retail partnership between Nike and St. Alfred is the first of its kind here in Chicago.  Nike has worked with Krabby Rangoon, co-owner of St. Alfred, (click on his name to learn more about him and the sneakerhead culture) and they both wanted to continue that relationship.  Nike is excited to have this collaborative space in the vibrant Wicker Packer area.
The great thing about this venture is the input and designs from local artists.  This month artist Cody Hudson has designed 6 limited edition shirts, centering around Chicago and Soccer.  To go even further in the creative process for you, you get to customize his designs with the help from St. Alfred designers.  The month of may will feature designs by Mr. Cartoon.
So sneakerheads, nike lovers, soccer fanatics, St. Alfred customers and everyone else;  check out this space and what it has to offer. You will not be disappointed!
Check out the picks below to get a closer look at some of the guests in attendance and the designs.
The new space opens to the public on Thursday April 15th.  Regular business hours will be Thursday-Sunday from 12pm-8pm!
Have a fun and fit day, Chicago!
