Leslie Hindman is the President and CEO of Leslie Hindman Auctioneers.

Located in Chicago's West Loop, Leslie Hindman Auctioneers is one of the leading fine art, furniture and decorative arts auction houses in the United States.

Leslie founded her company in 1982 and it quickly became the largest auction house in the Midwest and the fifth largest in the country. Leslie Hindman Auctioneers was acquired by Sotheby's in 1997.

As one of the country's foremost authorities on the buying and selling of antiques, fine art and collectibles, Leslie has shared her knowledge with millions via television and print. From 1994 - 2001, Leslie hosted two popular television shows on the Home & Garden Television Network (HGTV): "At the Auction with Leslie Hindman" and "The Appraisal Fair," which were viewed in more than 80 million homes across the United States.

Leslie also wrote a weekly syndicated column for the Chicago Tribune called "What's It Worth?" and published a critically acclaimed book, "Adventures at the Auction".  Leslie reopened Leslie Hindman Auctioneers in July 2003. The auction house holds regularly scheduled auctions of fine art; fine furniture and decorative arts; fine jewelry and timepieces; vintage couture and accessories and fine books and manuscripts and provides a full range of services for trust and estate professionals and institutions.

The auction house is located at 1338 West Lake Street and is open Monday through Friday, 9 am - 5 pm, with extended hours for preview exhibitions and auctions.
