It looks like the weather will be holding out for another amazing weekend, and here we thought last weekend was going to be the end of it. THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 12
There is still plenty of films left on the schedule during the Reeling Film Festival and plenty of parties including New Queer Cinema Panel and Closing Party on Sunday. Check the site for full listing of events.
Tonight, 13 individuals and 1 organization will be inducted into The Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame during a ceremony at the Chicago Cultural Center. The ceremony is free and open to the public, it starts at 6PM.
Mary Beth Sammons will be at Women and Children First books this evening to read from her latest work that she recently co-authored with Nina Lesowitz: Living Life as a Thank You. Head north and be there by 7:30.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13
The Hausfrau of the heartland, Bertha Mason, is hosting a good old Church Supper with 'Bertha Mason's Loaves and the Dishes" where she'll serve up comedy, tuna noodle casserole, meatloaf and a rainbow of Jell-o salads. Snow White is back, and I'm sure is better than ever, in a battle against the Drag Queen that Stole X-mas. Head over to Hydrate at 9PM for MidTangent Productions soon to be classic mash up of the fairytale and the Dr. Seuss holiday tale we all love. Tix are $10 at the door or can be purchased online. Thodos Dance Chicago is premiering "Fosse Trilogy" at 8PM. The company will present three works created by Oscar and Emmy-winning coreographer Bob Fosse, including "Cool Hand Luke," "Tijuana," and "Mexican Breakfast" which you may know better from Beyonce's Single Ladies Video at the North Shore Center in Skokie. Tickets are $38 and can be purchased online.

What gay do you know who doesn't love a good Showtune? Sidetrack is packed every Sunday night so that proves my point. Now the Lakeside Pride Symphonic Band along with the Chicago Gay Men's Chorus and the Evanstown Township HS Band will present BROADWAY! For one night only Terry Galloway will perform "Out All Night and Lost My Shoes" at the Victory Gardens Biograph Theater. Part of the VG's LGBT Series: Fresh Squeezed. Show starts at 7:30, tix are $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
The Center on Halsted will host "An Evening with Diane Schroer" a transgender activist who lost a job offer, and won a subsequent federal discrimination lawsuit against the Library of Congress when they offered her a job and then rescinded it after learning she was transgendered. Tonight she shares her story. Tix are $5 please RSVP
