Notice what Limbaugh actually says: "There's a particular candidate that's being described as the Scott Brown of his race." [Emphasis added.] Not to split hairs, but that's a bit different than Limbaugh saying "He is the Scott Brown of Illinois," as has been reported.
As for Beck's soundbite, I don't hear Beck mention Andrzejewski's name. I hear him play a recording of Lech Walesa mention Andrzejewski's name. And I assume this is the best soundbite the campaign has, otherwise it would have given us a better one.
I wouldn't begrudge a campaign from making the most of this. However, I do begrudge others in the conservative media for reporting that this amounted to an endorsement -- the American Spectator and the Washington Times need to issue a correction.
