Did Limbaugh, Beck Endorse Andrzejewski? No

Granted, the Andrzejewski campaign has not claimed that they did, only that Andrzejewski was "mentioned" on the Limbaugh and Beck radio shows. Here's the audio sound bite, provided by the campaign, as evidence:

Notice what Limbaugh actually says: "There's a particular candidate that's being described as the Scott Brown of his race." [Emphasis added.] Not to split hairs, but that's a bit different than Limbaugh saying "He is the Scott Brown of Illinois," as has been reported.

As for Beck's soundbite, I don't hear Beck mention Andrzejewski's name. I hear him play a recording of Lech Walesa mention Andrzejewski's name. And I assume this is the best soundbite the campaign has, otherwise it would have given us a better one.

I wouldn't begrudge a campaign from making the most of this. However, I do begrudge others in the conservative media for reporting that this amounted to an endorsement -- the American Spectator and the Washington Times need to issue a correction.
