Since Senator Dick Durbin has decided not to organize town hall meetings to hear people's opinions about the healthcare reform proposed by President Obama, I suggest we help him to do the work. This won't be a "political theater" Mister Durbin, this would be an opportunity for the community to be heard. I don't have any political affiliation so you can't say whatever you want but politicians should not decide our future without listening our concerns.

Good for you, Vicente. Hope the event is a success in having voices heard, and hopefully those voices find a way to the politicians too.

Excellent Vicente....looks like our Senators are still afraid to go directly to our communities. You only see politicians in the Black community during election time - and they go straight to the churches. You only see politicians on Cinco de Mayo, trying to have a drink for a latino photo opportunity.
Wow!
