Vancouver Olympics mascots Quatchi and Miga in the flesh

John Kristoff

Recent DePaul graduate. Twins, Packers fan. Born and raise Minnesotan, though I've been told I don't have one of those "Fargo"-esque accents.

The mascots for these Olympic Games--Quatchi, Sumi and Miga--have been receiving a ton of attention. And with good reason.

When I think of the best reasons to be in Vancouver right now, it's hard to top seeing huge, adorable mascots dancing in person. I was in the Olympic Village earlier today for the Team USA flag raising ceremony and caught some of their moves. Enjoy.

But wait, there's more!

No word on why Sumi failed to make an appearance. I'll keep my eye out for him.

I've seen some one dance like that before. Is that you in the costume ? Why is there no green man?
