This trip will have its fare share of things on the "to-do" list. For me, the first one is done.
Flying to Seattle: check.
See how close I am? Ahhh, I can smell the Olympic village already.

I'm sitting in coffee shop right now (go figure), there's a steady rain falling outside and my iTunes randomly played a Pearl Jam song while writing this post. What are the odds? I'm just two and a half hours south of Vancouver and five days away from crossing the border with the rest of the group.
The closer we get to Feb. 8, the more surreal this experience feels. I'll explain why.

I don't doubt it, Tom. Are you excited for curling to start?

Hell Ya, I curled this past weekend as we talked with John Shuster.

Of course it's raining in Seattle, what else is new?? Haha. What a (true) stereotype.
Enjoy the trip, John. Should be amazing. I'll follow along on the blog!

I love the nod to curling at the very end. BBC Sport has some creative folks.
