In just about 10 days the 2010 Winter Olympics begin, and in six days we'll touchdown in Vancouver! After months of planning, it's finally time for us to leave for the Olympics! We depart Monday, Feb. 8 to be a part of the biggest sporting event in the world.

We are a group of seven DePaul University journalism graduate students and recent graduates working behind the scenes with the U.S. Olympic Committee in their media services department. We all have different jobs and responsibilities, but we are mainly there to help keep the press room running and coordinate press appearances of American athletes.

Between all of that and what we expect to be little sleep, we'll also be documenting our experiences in Vancouver -- from exploring the city to finding out what goes on during the Games.
