The Winter Olympics are beginning to feel like the Winter Olympics.

While it is raining with fall-like weather in Vancouver, there is heavy snow and diminished visibility in Whistler.

The conditions at the Whistler Creekside venue are so bad that women's Alpine skiing training, whose practice is combined with the super combined, has been cancelled for the day. Before the cancellation an unidentified skier was airlifted from the venue.

Vonn's husband told the Washington Post that she was ready to train after completing her warm up run Thursday morning. It is not clear if she got her first practice run in.
