I actually wouldn't be surprised at all to see this happen at some point. I'm not saying that 24 will specifically be cited in the new look, but to have split screens showing 10 things at once is not something I'd be shocked to see.
We're already halfway there. Fox has already tried to spice up long established sports. Weren't they the ones that gave us the magic puck for hockey? I remember a few years back that the NBA playoffs were offering games on three different channels/websites that all showed different angles of the same game.
That's fine. I can take it. Round of 64 is coming up in March Madness, so split screens and streaming 3 games at work are Amerigasms in their own right.
