I love knitting, the Detroit Tigers, wearing dresses, biking, and pie.

A New Jersey town has been terrorized by 'The Midnight Knitter' - someone covering public property with knitting.

How. Cool. Is. That?

Less invasive than your standard graffiti, it does exactly what graffiti artists set out to do without destroying buildings and making a mess that is really hard to clean up. Kinda genius!

Sure, it's illegal. But I'd like to see the punishment they pass down on this woman when they catch her. Community service? I think she is already doing her community a service. How fun would it be to be walking down the street and see this?

I recall someone doing this around chicagoland a few years ago. I was walking to the belmont red line and came across a scaffold that appeared to be wearing a knitted scarf of many colors. it made my fraking day.
