That is actually an understatement. I psychotically love baseball in a way you can only psychotically love something that treats you like shit.
Most knitters knit more in the winter than they do in the summer. It's easier to knit winterwear. Easier to knit with wool. Easier to justify sitting inside knitting knitting when it's 10 degrees outside.
I get it.
Not this girl! I know I've got at least three hours of knitting guaranteed every single day between the first week in April and mid October, if I'm not laying on the floor weeping.
If there isn't a Detroit Tigers game to watch DREADED TRAVEL DAYS than I've got to scope out the competition. The Minnesota Twins have got that new stadium to break in. I've got a sick obsession with AJ Pierzynski, but please don't tell anyone.
I begrudgingly have to keep up with the stupid Yankees since they ripped my beloved Curtis Granderson from me. My passionate hatred for the Chicago Cubs (bring it, assholes) and love for my boss, a huge Cubs fan, keeps me interested in them.
Though I don't consider at least one baseball game a day any kind of break. I watch baseball with purpose. I knit with purpose. It's just nice to know that starting Monday it will be there. Like the ability to breathe.

YES! Though, biking to The Cell might kill us. You can just bike over to my house and we can watch games with my MLB TV package.
