Three ChicagoNow bloggers took home top prizes last weekend when the Chicago chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences hosted the Midwest Emmy's.
Billy Dec (A Chicago Thing) won for "Outstanding Achievement for Arts/Entertainment Program or Program Series (Broadcast/Advanced Media)." Billy documented his travels as he researched the development and opening of his amazing new restaurant, Sunda.
And finally, Marcus Leshock (Leshock Value) won a pair of Emmys. The first, for his work hosting Metromix on CLTV, was in the category "Outstanding Achievement for Individual Excellence On Camera: Programming - Program."
He also won for in the category of "Host/Moderator/Contributor Outstanding Achievement - Soft News Single Feature (Broadcast/Advanced Media) for his work as host of CLTV's American Idol Recaps.
Congratulations to David, Billy and Marcus on their much-deserved honors and all their excellent work!
